Downy Birch of Scotland

I tried to capture the essence and tranquility of the downy birch trees that populate the serene landscapes of Scotland. The interplay of soft greens, muted grays, and hints of earthy browns evokes the peaceful atmosphere of a birch grove, where nature’s textures and colors blend in quiet harmony. The layering of paint, with its abstract forms, mimics the intricate bark patterns and the delicate foliage that these trees are known for. My intent was to create a visual experience that allows the viewer to feel the calm and grounding connection that these ancient trees bring to the Scottish countryside.
