Collaboration Series for Brooklyn-Japan Fashion Week 2024 with the Portuguese brand, Empório Aragão. This unique collection blends art and fashion, showcasing contemporary abstract designs that celebrate the harmony of monochrome textures and modern elegance.
The theme for fashion week is “Godai” the five natural elements in Japanese Buddhist philosophy:Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Air which interlocks seamlessly with my inspiration from my artistic process.

“Whispers of light”
This unique piece is adorned with sgraffito patterns that evoke natural textures and movement.
While the ancient Gayatri mantra is inscribed on its surface, the glaze has softened its lines, creating a subtle, almost whispered presence.
The Gayatri mantra is 4000 year old Sanskrit verse that expresses gratitude for the divine source of transformation and inner growth. It honors Gayatri, the radiant energy of the sun and the nurturing force of the universe.
The piece invites people to feel both rooted in the present and open to positive change.
