La Palma Cascade of Colours

“La Palma Cascade of Colours,” is inspired by the incredible natural beauty and dynamic forces at work on the island of La Palma, Spain. The island’s landscape is shaped by both erosion and volcanic activity, creating a breathtaking canvas of colours and textures that I wanted to capture in this piece.

In “La Palma Cascade of Colours,” I used vibrant yellows, greens, and touches of red and blue to represent the rich and varied terrain of the island. The layered and textured brushstrokes evoke the rugged, eroded surfaces and the vibrant, ever-changing environment shaped by volcanic forces. The interplay of colours in this painting mirrors the way light dances across the landscape, revealing the depth and complexity of La Palma’s natural wonders.

Through this painting, I aimed to convey the energy and life that pulse through the island, a place where the earth’s raw power is both visible and tangible. “La Palma Cascade of Colours” is my homage to the island’s unique beauty and the vibrant, unstoppable forces that continue to shape it.
