“In this painting, I delve into the essence of *Prakriti*, the Sanskrit word for Nature, capturing the lushness of the woods as they come alive after the rains. The vibrant greens and rich textures are inspired by the rejuvenation of the natural world, a theme beautifully expressed in Rabindranath Tagore’s poem on Nature. The verse, *’Eki Labanye Purno Prano Praanesha he,’* which translates to ‘O what beauty has filled nature and its life forms, O the Lord of life,’ resonates deeply within this piece. Through the intertwining layers of color and form, I seek to evoke the serene yet powerful vitality of the forest, echoing the profound connection between life and the natural world that Tagore so eloquently described. This painting is a tribute to the eternal beauty and vibrancy that spring breathes into Nature, a celebration of the ever-renewing cycle of life.”
