“Gulmohar in Full Bloom” is a painting that holds deep nostalgic memories for me. The Gulmohar trees, with their vibrant, flaming colors, were a significant part of my childhood as I used to pass them every day on my way to school. These trees lined both sides of the road, creating a tunnel of fiery reds and oranges that seemed to glow under the intense summer sun of Hyderabad.
In this painting, I aimed to capture the essence of those memories—the vivid colors of the Gulmohar flowers in full bloom, the intense heat of the summer on my skin, and the sense of awe I felt as I walked beneath these magnificent trees. The rich, layered textures and bold hues of oranges, reds, and greens reflect the vibrant energy and beauty of the Gulmohar trees that have stayed with me all these years.
“Gulmohar in Full Bloom” is not just a visual representation of these trees; it is a celebration of the memories and emotions they evoke. Through this painting, I wanted to share the warmth and vitality of those summer days in Hyderabad, bringing to life the enduring image of the Gulmohar trees in their full, glorious bloom.
