Flowers of Kew Series

“Flowers of Kew,” is part of a series inspired by the stunning botanical beauty found in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Every visit to Kew Gardens fills me with awe at the vibrant, diverse array of flowers that flourish there, each one contributing to a rich tapestry of colour and life.

In this piece, I used a bright, varied palette of pinks, greens, oranges, and purples to evoke the lush and dynamic environment of the gardens. The textured layers and energetic brushstrokes represent the dense, interwoven nature of the flowers, as they burst forth in a riot of colours, each bloom adding to the overall harmony of the scene.

“Flowers of Kew” is my attempt to capture the essence of the gardens—a place where nature’s beauty is on full display, and every corner reveals something new and breathtaking. Through this painting, I wanted to convey the joy and inspiration I feel when surrounded by such abundant floral life, and to share a piece of that experience with you.
